Design and develop backend solutions for internal users and external partners within Mercari's Logistics platform.
Collaborate with product managers and business development to plan and execute the product roadmap; translate business problems into scalable technical designs.
Analyze partner systems and constraints; architect integrations that serve both Mercari and partner ecosystems, supporting migrations and feature expansions.
Work with cross-functional teams to enhance existing features and ensure reliable shipping services, designing for high load and global expansion.

Data modeling and efficient querying for RDBMS/NoSQL
Cloud development experience (GCP or AWS)

Debugging legacy systems and large-scale migrations
Strong communication and cross-stakeholder collaboration
Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1); English independent (CEFR B2) preferred
