Contribute to the direction and roadmap of a secure, scalable authentication solution for GitLab.
Implement and expand authentication strategies (SAML, SSO, SCIM, LDAP, RBAC/IAM) across the product, including token management and automated provisioning.
Develop new authentication mechanisms (e.g., passkeys, passwordless) and strengthen the security posture with fine-grained access control and user management.
Maintain internal standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance; lead and participate in code reviews; ship moderately sized features with guidance.
Collaborate across teams, represent GitLab publicly for broader initiatives, and pursue the maintainer track via the maintainer trainee program.
