Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities, coordinating with the Technology team to implement new or revised systems.
Partner with multiple management teams to ensure function integration, and define system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes and industry standards.
Ensure application design adheres to the architecture blueprint; develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
Develop knowledge of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve business goals; provide innovative solutions.
Mentor and coach mid-level developers/analysts, allocating work as necessary.
Assess risk and drive compliance with laws/policy; escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.

Java expert with 10+ years of software building and platform engineering; hands-on Java with Spark.
Deep knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem: HDFS, Hive, Impala, Spark, Spark SQL; large-scale data pipelines.
Proficiency in core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, OOP, design patterns; advanced multithreading/multiprocessing.
Familiarity with data formats: Avro, Parquet, CSV, JSON.
Unix-based OS experience and Python/shell scripting; strong SQL query skills.
Experience with source control tools (Git, Bitbucket); English communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science; Master’s preferred.
